Registered unemployment in August increased by 8,070 compared with the previous month and the total number of unemployed registered at the offices of the Public Employment Services stood at 4,427,930. In the past 10 years, registered unemployment had increased on average in the months of August at 49,025 people. Seasonally adjusted registered unemployment has fallen by 11,091 people. This is the most pronounced in August since 2002 except last year descent.
