APRIL KEY POINTS BALANCE ON GOODS AND SERVICES In trend terms, the balance on goods and services was a surplus of $891m in April 2014, a decrease of $28m (3%) on the surplus in March 2014. In seasonally adjusted terms, the balance on goods and services was a deficit of $122m in April 2014, a turnaround of $1,024m on the surplus in March 2014. CREDITS (EXPORTS OF GOODS AND SERVICES) In seasonally adjusted terms, goods and services credits fell $421m (1%) to $28,497m. Rural goods fell $208m (6%), non-monetary gold fell $131m (11%), non-rural goods fell $96m and net exports of goods under merchanting fell $3m (19%). ... (full story)
