Krishnan Rasaratnam, a former director of Strategic Alternative Investments Pty Ltd (SAI), has today been jailed for 3 years and 3 months on dishonest conduct and deception charges. In October 2011, Mr Rasaratnam pleaded guilty to one count of using a false instrument and five counts of dishonest conduct in relation to providing a financial service. (refer: 11-245AD).
