UK Consumer Price Inflation, September 2013
•The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) grew by 2.7% in the year to September 2013, unchanged from August. •The contributions to change in the CPI from the detailed categories were relatively small compared with most months. The largest upward contribution came from air fares, though this was offset by a downward contribution from petrol and diesel prices. •CPIH grew by 2.5% in the year to September 2013, unchanged from August. RPIJ grew by 2.5%, down from 2.6%. •These latest numbers continue the trend of broadly steady inflation seen since Spring 2012.
