Speculative traders on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange are still betting on stronger USD and weaker EUR and AUD, data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) showed on Friday. Traders increased their long USD bet by 4.5% from last week to reach a total of $42.5 billion as of Tuesday. In a parallel move, traders increased their short EUR bet by 4.5% from last week to reach a total of $13.5 billion as of Tuesday.
