US crude oil inventories fall by 0.3m barrels
US commercial crude oil inventories fell by 0.3 million barrels in the week ending 23 November. The US Energy Information Administration says that at 374.1 million barrels, crude oil inventories are well above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 3.9 million barrels last week and are in the lower half of the average range. Both finished gasoline inventories and blending components inventories increased last week.
