U.S. Stocks Rise as Voters Head for Presidential Election

U.S. stocks rose, sending the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index higher for a second straight day, as American voters go to the polls to pick a president. Boeing Co. (BA) and United Technologies Corp. (UTX) added at least 2.2 percent to pace gains among the biggest companies. Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC), the manager of networks for NASA, surged 15 percent as a cost-cutting program helped boost its profit forecast.
