In the long term, it is my desire that all the EU countries will eventually join the euro. This is already provided for in the EU Treaty and in that respect nothing is really new. The euro is the right path for the integration of Europe. The only question is how it goes - and how to ensure that it is successful...I am convinced that the euro will be there in 10 years, and even in 100 years.
