UK Producer Price Index, July 2012
•In the year to July 2012 the output price index for home sales of manufactured products rose 1.7 per cent. Output inflation has decelerated steadily since September 2011, when prices rose 6.3 per cent on the year. The last time the annual rate was lower was in October 2009, when the index rose 1.5 per cent. •Between June and July the output index for home sales of manufactured products showed no movement, compared with a fall of 0.6 per cent between May and June. •In the year to July 2012 the output price index excluding food, beverages, tobacco & petroleum rose 1.3 per cent, compared with a rise of 1.7 per ...
