The rate rally in global safe heaven assets which started in late March is poised to continue in the near term with rates in many countries on the path to hit new record lows, says Barclays Capital in a note. That is not mainly due to the European sovereign spiking, but to a number of factors that are likely to remain intact over the next few months.
