The German government made clear ahead of Wednesday's summit of EU leaders that it will not give in to any calls to issue Eurobonds to counter the debt crisis. "Eurobonds are not part of the instruments which are suited to cope with the problems that the Eurozone currently faces," a senior German government official said Tuesday.
