Australia economy adds 44,000 jobs
Australia's employers added many more jobs than expected last month, leaving the jobless rate unchanged and reducing the need for the Reserve Bank to cut interest rates again. Australia's jobless rate came in at 5.2 per cent in March as the economy added 44,000 jobs for the month, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The monthly jobs gain was the most since November 2010 - 17 months ago.
