Chinese Manufacturing Index Rises to More-Than-Estimated 50.3
A Chinese manufacturing index was 50.3 in December compared with a previously reported 49.0 in November, the Beijing-based National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said in a statement today. A number above 50 indicates expansion. The reading compared with the median 49.1 estimate in a Bloomberg News survey of 15 economists.
