Australian Central Bank Signals It Is Open to Rate Cut
The Australian central bank on Tuesday signaled that it could lower interest rates if the global financial turmoil persists, a subtle but important shift that underlined the spreading impact of the European and U.S. turbulence on economies in the Asia-Pacific region.
