Intervention in the Air
Drama in the currency market continues to showcase a brilliant plot with turns and twists around every corner. Hefty gains in the Japanese Yen and the Swiss Franc abide risk aversion flows are drawing the last straw. The Swiss National Bank and the Bank of Japan have been rumored to intervene in the currency market if respected currencies continue to advance at a rapid pace. So far, the SNB and the Japanese authorities merely used a verbal intervention with hopes to halt excessive gains.
