The Swiss franc strengthened to an all-time high against the euro and the dollar amid deepening concern that the European sovereign-debt crisis will deteriorate, spurring demand for a haven. The franc, which also climbed to a record versus the pound, stayed higher after a report showed the nation’s leading economic indicator unexpectedly held at the highest level in almost five years this month.
