Euro Moves Higher Against the Greenback as EU Summit Eyed
In early Asian trading, the Euro edged up against the U.S. Dollar, but investors, who have increased their long-term holdings in the common currency, appear to believe that a decline in the short-term will prevent it from breaching the November peak. As reported at 2:38 p.m. (JST) in Tokyo, the Euro was trading against the greenback at $1.3981, a gain of .1%, but slightly off the 4-month peak struck yesterday.
