According to preliminary information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector rose by 2.1% in February 2024 compared to January 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted. In a less volatile three-month comparison, production from December 2023 to February 2024 was 0.5% lower than in the previous three months.
