The U.S. Census Bureau announced the following international trade, wholesale inventories, and retail inventories advance statistics for October 2023: {table} The international trade deficit was $89.8 billion in October, up $3.0 billion from $86.8 billion in September. Exports of goods for October were $170.8 billion, $3.0 billion less than September exports. Imports of goods for October were $260.7 billion, virtually unchanged from September imports.
