US GDP preview
U.S. economic growth picked up in the final three months of last year and is expected to keep growing at a modest pace in the current quarter. Analysts forecast no change in the government's initial estimate of 2.8 percent annual growth in the October-December quarter, according to a survey by FactSet. That's the fastest growth since the spring of 2010. The Commerce Department will release its second of three estimates for fourth-quarter growth at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time Wednesday.
