Fed Watch: Words, Not Actions, To Be Under Spotlight At July FOMC
The Federal Reserve is drawing closer to a decision about the future of its $85 billion-a-month asset purchase program and Fed watchers do not expect any action when the monetary policymakers meet next week - but they will be looking for changes in language that will shed more light on the central bank's plans. The Fed's policymaking Federal Open Market Committee meets July 30-31, and will release a policy statement at 2 p.m. ET.
