There will be so much to focus on next week that market participants may risk indigestion at some point. The 17 September FOMC meeting will be an obvious risk event in the US, but the European agenda looks very heavy too, including the binary outcome of the Scottish referendum on Thursday and ongoing developments on the Russia-Ukraine front (more on this on the front page and relevant sections of our calendar). One major event from a monetary policy perspective will be the ECB’s announcement of the allotment relative to the first TLTRO operation on 18 September (results out around 10:15 GMT).
