New Zealand Credit Card Spending Rises In March
Credit card spending in New Zealand increased at a faster pace in March, data from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Tuesday. Spending through credit cards increased 5.2 percent year-on-year in March compared to 4 percent rise in February. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, credit card spending rose 0.3 percent, compared to a revised 0.4 percent rise the preceding month. Domestic billings on New Zealand issued cards remained unchanged from a month earlier. Overseas billings on cards issued in New Zealand rose 0.5 percent.
