Oil futures turn higher after EIA supply data
Oil futures turned higher on Wednesday following weekly data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showing that crude supplies rose 400,000 barrels for the week ended Nov. 15. Analysts polled by Platts were looking for a decline of 500,000 barrels, though Prestige Economics forecast a 1.4 million-barrel increase. Gasoline supplies fell by 300,000 barrels, while distillate stockpiles dropped 4.8 million barrels, the EIA said.
