UK Economy Slows in Q3 as Trade, Retail Deteriorate
The first official estimate published in late October showed the UK economy had decelerated to 0.7% in the third quarter, down from 0.9% in the previous three months, as the services sector output had unexpectedly slowed down from the previous quarter. The second estimate, due on Wednesday this week, will include new data on the expenditure side of the gross domestic product (GDP) and is expected to show no revision to the previous estimate.
