An economist outlined one mistake May made that could hinder a Brexit transitional deal
One of Britain's most prominent economists, Professor Erik Berglof, said Prime Minister Theresa May made a mistake by being too hostile in her speech before Brexit negotiations have been started between Britain and the European Union. Berglof, director of the Institute of Global Affairs (IGA) at the London School of Economics, said May was too hostile in her approach to talks in an interview at the World Economic Forum. May gave her speech on Tuesday, which was the first time she had given a clear Brexit plan. "The whole [speech] was hostile and that is how it has been perceived.
