Values are seasonally adjusted and compared with the March 2014 quarter. Exports fell 7.4 percent (to $12.4 billion). Imports rose 0.5 percent (to $12.5 billion). There was a trade deficit of $146 million (1.2 percent of exports). The trends for both exports and imports remain at high levels. June 2014 month: Values are actual and compared with the June 2013 month. Exports rose 4.8 percent (to $4.2 billion), led by whole milk powder. Imports rose 8.7 percent (to $3.9 billion).
