US durable goods order preview
The Commerce Department reports business orders for durable goods in March. The report will be issued at 8:30 a.m. EDT Thursday. ORDERS UP: The expectation is that orders rose 1.9 percent in March, according to a survey of economists by data firm FactSet. DEMAND REBOUND: In February, orders to factories for long-lasting goods rose by 2.2 percent, the most in three months. That gain followed two straight months of falling orders.
