    • Somehow most of the reasonable and mature people who care about their families disagree with you. The market is consistent in assessment. And just remind me what he has done good for Italy?

Italy had quite a bit of prosperity while he was in office. His differences with that other media empire got him in trouble. Was she a plant? that other empire seemed to want him out... so much so they were able to put heavily funded Anarchist NGO's to work torching cop cars and rabble-rousing with considerable violence. There is a NY Times article about Barenboem giving a pre-(Wagner)-opera speech at la Scala opening nite, where instead of talking about Wagner (banned in Israel but Barenboem wants to change that) he dedicated almost the entire lecture to why Berlusconi had to go, while the anarchists torched cop cars outside. In Germany the anarchists destroy about 5M EUR worth of cop cars every year according to government records on these registerred NGO's who state in their registration statment they intend violent overthrow of the Federal Republic. (They have 51,000 American troops there too to back them up.) but the government is helpless to stop it because of the source of the NGOs' funding.

    • The technocrats want to see Italy in the knee such as Greece. In the last year of the government "Monti" the Italians were crushed in their rights and have never been so poor. The media around the world still do not tell the truth. Viva Berlusconi and the bunga bunga. Italy is the mother of the culture of Europe and not a servant of Germany.

I think the technocrats have the same thing in mind for Germany (the number of anti-german NGO's there would bear this out) but they must first dig thru the layers of Greece, Spain and Italy before they can begin looting German assets. Thus functions he planned economic collapse. You can be sure when they finally get to Germany they will be thorough. More thorough than anywhere else.

Recently the Italians haven't been given the privilege voting for the prime minister post. Wonder what it says in their constitution about that.

    • Berlusconi entered politics to save his companies from bankruptcy and himself from convictions. He is smart man without doubts (...).
Without his political status and powers which comes with that status he would end up in jail as a criminal. Look and his convictions and allegations from child prostitution and bribing judges to perjury, tax fraud and relationship in mafia associations.

Is law and respect for the others important or money is the most important? I do not know what is the best for normal citizens in Italy.

      Some statistics:
      unemployment Italy 11.1%; Germany 6.5%
trade balance Italy 0.4B; Germany 5.8B
      population Italy 60.7; Germany 81.7M
