  • Euro zone sentiment rises for fourth straight month in December

    Euro zone sentiment improved for a fourth consecutive month in December boosted by a rise in expectations to their strongest level since May 2011, as investors took heart from pledges by the European Central Bank and politicians to stand by the euro. Sentix research group said on Monday its index tracking investor sentiment in the euro zone strengthened to -16.8 from November's -18.8, though it fell short of expectations in a Reuters poll that mood would rise to -16.0.     • valid point, have you noticed that since the onset of the great recession we're encouraged to cheerlead every micro percentage movement? In the UK news that the economy has improved by 0.1% even makes the mainstream channels

    • not yet bait. stopped on the utl here. looks lower though. no stimulus for lower i can see yet either. in the back of me head is fiscal cliff solution i keep waiting to hear about. no reason to get too involved here. got 40 overnight. 2936 looks good. was gonna nail 40. maybe a breakeven stop might be ok too. gl with it

    • You might be able to knock the euro down, but it keeps fighting to go back up! I don't agree with a stronger euro...but the market apparently wants it higher!
