    From federalreserve.gov

Good afternoon. I'd like to thank John Bryant and Operation HOPE for inviting me to speak today. I'd also like to congratulate Operation HOPE and the Ebenezer Baptist Church on the grand opening of the HOPE Financial Dignity Center, which holds the promise of becoming a tremendous resource for the people of Atlanta and sits next to Martin Luther King's home church. Dr. King's legacy to our society is strong and enduring, and the new center is very much in the spirit of his work. The past few years have been difficult for many Americans and their communities. At the Federal Reserve, we understand the ... (full story)

    • Under the line, there are very big issues. Before, bernanke speach i told my friend that he will avoid to talke over fiscal cliff. EU and West are under serious economic troubles and they dont have any other way except to over printing of curriencies, which they did already, are the positive signs for Godl bullish. Furthermore, God is affecting by many other sectors. So i blieve, go ahead with PT approach and dont expose yourself to this financial casino for longer period. I am seeing gold between 1800 - 1900 by mid of December 2012.

2016 gold touch 4000??? i dont think so...the economic scenario is still same, if gold really touch 4000 , then gold will fall sharply to correction....

    • listen mlfx, I don't have to read a speech unless I have to, in which case I read it in great detail and analyse every word if necessary. If I am not mistaken (and correct me if I am wrong), the speech was originally highlighted in red not yellow. sometimes I can't remember everything, and my journal reads that "Bernanke speaks" at 20.20 CAT, with an asterisk next to it. if Mr. Bernanke wishes to speak about social issues like housing (or on a previous occasion about education) then I really do not want to know about it. the first couple of sentences of the above report clearly show that this was a "social" occasion. By the way if an imortant piece of news or scheduled announcement is due to come out, I switch off all media feeds and watch the chart price action at the scheduled time. obviously it helps to know what are the potential likely outcomes are of the scheduled news. my opinions on gold and U.S. stocks are opinions as an independent trader, take it or leave it.

"We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now."

      I disagree.

    • i hear you! i completely agree with your disagreement. your constructive feedback prompted me to delete my naive comment (which said "the speech wasn't even about gold"). what was i thinking?

i know i can get like that sometimes. but i am in therapy. i realize now that nobody really cares what i say and that i have mommy issues. it's been a long journey for me. but still, i want to shine my light to the world!

and how would they know anyway? i say: who cares about what they care about even if they won't come out and say it! I know that they know exactly what i'm talking about because we've all been there before.

and it's so sad when they don't even care what i'm trying to explain to them in the first place! but what can you do? i know what time it is. you know what i'm saying? for real. they don't know what time it is but i do. i'm for real.

alls i know is that i don't know nothing. at least i learned in my group to be a man about it and accept my own responsibility. but every day, each answer opens the door to even more questions! i don't know how you do it, but you inspire me to strive optimally for achievement in my personal and irregardless it always comes down to it.

      sorry if i offended.

      cheers!
