Visitors to a new Moscow museum exhibit are being given the opportunity to sit on a million dollars.

'Money throne x10' is a chair made of two-and-a-half inch layers of bulletproof glass filled with $1million worth of bank notes, and has gone on display at the Art Residence in the north of the Russian capital. 

It created by Russian artist Alexey Sergienko in partnership with billionaire entrepreneur Igor Rybakov.

The 47-year-old building materials salesman unveiled it at a social event, as speakers blared a tune containing the words 'money, money, money' (translated from Russian).

'The money throne X10 multiplies anything that one thinks or feels on it by ten,' said Rybakov in a video on social media.

'So if you think of anything bad, it will immediately multiply by ten, so be careful with your thoughts and feelings on that throne"

'This evening's intention was to have more rich people in Russia, for them (the guests) to start embracing the energy of money and start focusing their attention to it.'

Rybakov is known for his eccentric stunts to show off his wealth and encourages others to seek financial success

During a business conference at the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg, he released a 'rain shower' of cash worth $20,000 into the audience.

The money was a tenth of his $200,000 speaking fee for the event, which he was giving away as a 'cash back'.

Rybakov, from industrial city Magnitogorsk, is a founder of TechnoNICOL Corporation, Russia's largest producer of roofing and insulation materials and systems.

A married father of four, he is also known as an author of books on successful business and a philanthropist.

He is one of the 100-plus Russians to become dollar billionaires during the Vladimir Putin era.
