Weekly market preview – 10 March 2014
The second week of the month brings a somewhat more sparse economic calendar in comparison to the frantic week gone. Given that we have now received such key indicators, we are better prepared to understand where the markets are moving. For this week, the US will be looking towards the retail sales data as a key indicator of consumer activity. In the UK, the inflation report will dominate, providing an outlook from the BoE with regards to both inflation and growth.
