Similarly, when strong shooting star is formed below/around strong resistance, we don't need too much analyses before getting in

You don't need to change any settings. Just leave them the way you met, except you wish to change colour. Just my tip. I have one chart here. I wanted to reserve the chart until there is another trade setup. Stochastic is already going overbought and there is a nearby support to be broken. When broken I will not take more position, but gives my the gut to hold on to the position

Hope price breaks that support zone, it may also be a supply zone. It it doesn't, we may get a reversal trading opportunity.

Not the same timezone = not the same chart = unable to setup the right indicator parameters. :-(

Time zone has nothing to do with MT4. Is Switzerland not using the same time with UK? if it does Nigeria and your tie zone are the same because Nigeria and UK have the same time zone

Hi kofix

Perhaps I may be able to help you.

Setting up this chart is one of the easiest you will ever do.

So, add the bollinger bands to the chart. The settings should be (period 20, shift 0, deviation 2). In most cases this is a standard setting.

Do the same for the stochasc indicator. The settings should be (k 5, slow 3, D 3) My settings are slightly different, but I think you should start with the settings suggested by 9jatrader.

And thats it! For the purposes of the strategy presented in this thread, this is all you need, nothing else.

I have K 5, slowing 3. period 3 on Stochastic. Bollinger bands- period 20, shift 0 and deviations 2. Do we really neead to know all these. I never bothered knowing all these until I was asked about my settings. I just install indicators and start using them, except I need to change the colour
