That showed some interesting stuff! Question about 'trading the failure' is the entry wherever your threshold to be considered a failure is in ur stats or the other end of the candle? Unless the candle size is smaller than ur threshold


trade to fail, on 04-00 or 07-30 bar it is until the opposite end.

i suppose it could happen if your bank roll runs out. Also, the bad trade might close and the good trade keep going. OR Bad trade close then good trade retrace.

this chart was copied at 08-36. the range was 19..
Low broke then retraced before +10.
anywhere in the (circle) we can add another short for extra points with reduced risk of loss (points).
it might fail.

Gooooooooooooood morning all! Hope everyone had a good weekend and is back ready to rock-'n-roll.

I'm sitting on The Frankfurt Break, as both triggered early and are in a (kind of weak-looking) sell but also already closed on the EJ Billy-Bar (04.00 H4), which just cried out to be shorted, which it duly did, taken from a southbound flight out of the Northern--Airspace.

Dax, 07-55 break. i said i wasnt going to trade it again but i did, lol. i got 10 % off break of low but it was more luck than anything else.
07-55 bar was very short range but i then it retraced then dropped again. i had a small loss but next trade dropped enough to recover +10%.
I will try still work on it but get back to A/U and cable.

cable, t 08-55. same with Cable, the 04-00 low broke before then retraced +10 has been made. so we can short again . range 25

edit, even though +10 hasnt been made at this time, it has still made +5.

edit, i worded above wrong,

The Frankenbreak closes out nicely on both variants, though sure enough, that sell was a weak one - so weak it was actually a buy in disguise, lol. All easily managed though and that's the first part of the day done-and-dusted.

AU made the 5 today but not the +10 be good to see what happens on the retrace, current h1 bar slowly creeping red. Lem, nice one on E/J that wick zone is a monster!

If AU had pushed price up into the upper zone, I'd have been all over a short back out for sure. The large lower wick put me off taking a straight break.

it does seem abit overextended given the long drop its been on, nice to see how you can still squeeze +5 out of it regardless though!
