4 Jan - 11 Jan, just include the monday after. But that's the minimum requirement, you can add more days just like Tiivaa told you.

Ok Guys, I have modified Tiivaa weekly spreadsheet to make it simpler to make the charts.

1.All data tab has all the price data from 28-8-16

2.Data tab: Is where you need to add the pairs high low data for the week.
(DO NOT CHANGE THE LAYOUT OF THE DATA TAB UNLESS YOUR COMPETENT IN EXCEL)

3. Chart tab: All you need to do is go to the pairs listing (starts D84) For the pair you have trades for the week either add a S under the high cell of that pair or a B under the low of that pair.

S=sell, B=buy.

It will pull through the high or low price for that pair and plot it on the graph.

PLEASE MAKE A COPY BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES.

I hope this is helpful to you all.

The current chart is the 28/9/16 hl chart.

I am thinking of creating a google drive trade log sheet for every one to fill in the trades at the end of each week. Just something simple so we can track how people are trading the strategy over time to see what seems to be working the best.

I think all we need at this point is
Trader: Week Day: Traded Pairs (as I am only going to be trading 8 pairs max at this time) Start time: Drawdown Max Pips: End date time:

P/L:
(pips)

What do you think? Is it worth it? If so would do you want any other data on the spreadsheet?

Any attempt to increase efficiency is a good idea. Give it a try to see if it's something practical that people can participate in.

I think, while using CCF-weekly template you have to use correct indi before hand and that is CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1).ex4 not CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 otherwise you will get wrong signals.

They are the same you will get the same signals if you have use.current = false and use bar instead of ma = false in the parameters.

Do not confuse yourself kkb2k8..CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1).ex4 and CCFp-Diff_[v2.0].ex4 are the same lol

Great job ajs5274..So now Tivaa weekly spreadsheet will plot with high and low prices for the week?Also can you provide us with simple step by step guide on how to use your Tivaa modified Excel?Honestly,I am looking at the modified Excel by you now and I dont even know where to start from and what to do with it lol..Sorry for bothering you but I am new to backtesting with Excel and I suppose I am not the only one.Thank you for your valuable contribution..Very much appreciated.

That would be great because I want to contribute as much as I can to make this strategy a success..I intend to create charts for 2016 and share results but I need know how to use your modified version of Tivaa's excel that uses the high and low to create the backtest chart before I can be able to help..

Whiles SmoothTrader is compiling the list of past CCFp weekly signals from 2012 to date , I suggest we have someone download the historical data feed from Dukascopy for every year starting from 2012 and share with us..So that when Smoothtrader is done compiling the list , we can have all the data we need to run all the backtests and simulations we may want to run..I would have loved to do this myself but unfortunately I have problems opening dukascopy and downloaded historical tick data..Its probably because I dont have a stable internet connection...Let me know what you guys think about this suggestion..I think it will be very useful to us..

I was a little over confident and optimistic with the speed at which I could complete this task. I've put in over 35 hours so far gathering, checking, transfering and formating the information into the spread sheet, and I've got a little less than a year's worth of data left to complete. I'm well rested now and I plan on going until I complete it. That should be in three hours or so.

Until then, it looks like the baskets that were initiated at 10am GMT (including mine) are still doing great, and should continue to go. Back to work now for me.

ps I have the historic data from Dukascopy already downloaded.

Great job. Just a couple of questions, why the starting hour is Sun 23 e not 22? The 'Data' tab/sheet has 121 lines and not 120, is that correct? In the 'Chart' tab the formulas take as last line the row #123 (120th line of the table). It seems as row 124 should be empty.

Great job you are doing SmoothTrader..God bless you..So you have the historic data from Dukascopy already downloaded?Did you download weekly data per year starting from 1st week in January 2012 to date?If so , i humbly request that you zip the data for every year 2012,2013,2014,2015,2016,2017 and post here so that we can all download and use..Please take your time and do it when you have some free time because apparently you are preoccupied compiling the excel list of CCfp past weekly signals that you promised..Cheers
