Damian, I know you don't use prior day high and low in your trading but sometimes it pays of to know reaction of other traders to these numbers.
I don't use Pivot Points but have them on my chart just to see how price behaves around them. Just the thought, just the thought.

When trading the longer term order flow, you have to be patient to weather the short term order flow and hold price accountable to your original expectations.

We or at least I learned that although the expectation at hand was for a NSH we should have situational awareness and factor in the imbalance favouring the bears which would probably mean a complex correction and a difficult to properly manage trade.

Also in a setup like today ..wouldn't it be better to enter on immediate OF change ? (neon green line and blue arrow)

Taken out by news. This trade was playing out very slowly, but to my expectation. NEWS! So, what I'd like to walk away with is the information needed to avoid the news. Can you guys give me a source where I can find out when to expect news and how or if it will affect my current commodity (currently trading e-mini Euro futures)? Thanks!

Yes i figured price would at lease get back to the BRN and the expectation in the longer term is for a NSH. The issue is that accumulation rested on the side of the bears and that is the reason why the bulls struggled to take price higher

I'm using Oanda's data feed and didn't have a close above the wick....futures data is more reliable !!!
