i have a sort of rule (not established completely yet) that if market moves more than 25-30 pips against I just move Target to BE (+2) no matter what. even if the trade premise is still the same..maybe i should hold on to that. what do you think?

No trades again for me today.

For whatever reason I feel paralyzed, maybe it's something to do with switching to the NQ.

Maybe I just need a break from charts for a little.

I also have a tough night. Because my UJ was ranging the last few hours.

However, it seems that small pips r very easy to be made in ranging markets. Three trades all positive at +10, +10, +4.

Just that there is no satisfaction as none of my expectations are realized.

Okay Market has spoken and we are now looking for longs. I liked how I managed the trade and was able to get a graceful exit while still giving the trade a chance to work out.

I think "situational awareness" would be more appropriate rather than a hard set rule.

If market moves so many pips against you, then it may be proper to reassess the bar-by-bar, and the latest swings, to make a decision of how probable is an expectation failure.

If the expectation still holds, why not be brave and continue to hold on.

That's how I managed my trade. But you should take into account what price did when it moves against you. Find ways to reduce risk as your trade is very weak.

I always ask myself are my reasons for getting in this trade still there? If the answer to that question way no then I'm out at the BE. if my answer to the is yes then I secure a graceful exit and still give the trade a fighting chance. That is exactly what I did with the last trade.

I feel you bro! I only had that breakeven trade on Tuesday on 6J. Today I skipped two entries because they seemed weak and they would've both turned out BE trades so... patience ..this too shall pass

I had some expectations today on USDJPY and all played out prob. lucky one But took not to much from it, but it is what it is as Mr. Pip says.
1 2 and 3 was short after price got strong reject from support form higher time frame and then i got 4 expectation upside to be deeper and now it broke and made NSH is it reasonable in 5 place to look for shorts to get NSL?
