In my plan I see that market is above Ema on H1. I will be looking for a buy if Market opens above Smooth on H2 and might wait for a retrace to support. I'm not looking for any shorts especially with Market also opening above Purple on Daily and that Purple has also crossed white. But it may go short and I'll let it go. I can't control the market but I will go with my plan if I see it happen.

This is not a trading plan - you need to go back to the subject of creating a trading plan and study in how to create one before moving on.

OK - before you make any comments with your trading plans be sure you post your plans BEFORE any comments. Also - after you had made entry you need to post your chart showing the entry and the reason why you made the entry showing 40/40.

Hello Traders

My trade just closed out for +40. I got my entry wrong by a pip or two so it took a long time to close for profit.

Daily is in an uptrend with Purple sliding under White indicating consolidation in the uptrend. All other charts are saying uptrend, so easiest way to trade is with the trend. There were 4-5 chances to enter so hopefully you got it too.

Nice trade. According to my plan I was waiting on market opening above smooth on H2 but when it did it was too far away from support and didn't retrace far enough for me to want to get in before I was out for the night with all the medium impact news and I was exhausted. I saw your entry but what stopped me was purple crossing smooth. I've seen it many times reverse way past the parabolic when this happens especially with daily in consolidation. You must be a paradox master by now and just know which ones to take.

Here's a tip for you:

When I entered, Purple/Smooth had crossed but we were nowhere near a Parabolic flip, so chances are Purple will slide above EMA to keep the trend intact. Plus I had the SAR attachment on the Parabolic, and it was the Daily Open above Daily Smooth. A Confluence of factors. Remember that the Daily is in an Uptrend but with a Slider - that makes all the difference. Look back at your charts and see if you can see the differences with how things react with different scenarios.

One thing you are missing is how to read support and resistance. All the indicators are both Support/Resistance. If the trend is up then the indicators are support. If the trend is down then the indicators are resistance. Now - you need to see the big picture concerning support and resistance and your primary support/resistance are the Parabolic's. And the question is: Which chart is your primary? The answer is the H2 and that is with a period.

Looking at your trading plan from yesterday what do you see for an entry going LONG? The answer is the H2 Parabolic hit for entry and 40 TP. Taking trades off support and/or resistance will always guarantee your daily 40.

80% of my trades are off the 17:00 EST candle with the E/J. I do not multiple trade pairs or multiple trade the same pair. The reason is because I know the E/J inside and out, backwards, sideway, and every other way but loose.

Now take a look at the charts you had posted with your trading plan and what do you see on the 2 hour for entry?

As Shaun had mention there was confluence with the entry.

1 - the Parabolic hit.
2 - the SAR
3 - the 50% Fibo hit.

With those confluence in place there was no question which way the market was going with the hit on the Parabolic.

The entry is at parabolic and sar attached. I saw that last night but that little macd arrow kept flickering on and off for the down which made me want the market above smooth for entry. I guess I was looking for too many confluence factors and don't know the E/J like a road map yet. I'm guilty of way too much studying and reading the paradox thread and not enough application. I believe you got that backwards: Too many excuses and not enough studying. That is how you become successful with studying and not application with what you think is happening but gaining wisdom with studying in knowing what is happening.

Did a little venturing out and took a look at the dove alliance ministry website. I've been studying the paradox so hardcore for four months that I need a break and think that I have information overload and thought I would share one of Dove's quotes on his marriage ministry site. This really hit home for me with trading. Absolutely loved it and it really applies to myself and I'm guessing some of you can relate. Amazing!!!

My 40 pips of today: entered long with the H2 DB/SAR connection, which also had the LightSkyBlue divergence attached, and the touch on H1 lower BB, with the SL behind H2 ROMAR. Because of the consolidation we are in these were good signals to me the market would go up. Market came 4 pips from TP, then 2 pips from SL at BE, but eventually it did get to TP.

Reminds me of a period when I was really struggling with consolidation and had no idea how to look for trade opportunities. It was a Daily consolidation starting around August 8th and ended August 26th. In that period of 3 weeks I was only able to take a few trades for 20 pips because of the tight ranging, which I took of the 4 horsemen. Looking back at that now there were enough trading opportunities, but only by trading from the top down and from the bottom up just like today and yesterday. I can recommend looking back to that period in August and try to learn from it, personally I find it very useful to study that period of tight ranging.
