We are on the Greatest Experiment for "Money" that have been lasting for 40-50 years. There is no "bright" future on the Currencies over the world except We are comeback to the "Real Money". There is no bright future as Quantitative Easing still in process as needed, as long as possible by Central Banking.

We are in the Game. FX playing game. Stock, Futures playing game. So everyday game is a madness products of human behaviour.

There is no Equality in this World.

For USD, as long still USD by name, USD will strong forever. USD is the mother of all currencies.
Currency = Paper Money
Currency = Cheap Metals Money (Debasement)

That's why i like quantitative analysis . You'r physician, you know human behavior better than most people.

Ever asked yourself what causes a trend? Behind every chart there are real people making trades, some short term, some long term.

For the technical guys that is sometimes hard to accept, they want to think the price is doing this or that because it hit some fib line or is overbought etc.

But it really comes down to to the human side of things. you know that commercial from Dow chemical... "the human element"?

Here is my take...

quant systems... there is NO universal system. however, the more universal the system, the better. its always a good sign to see a system work on the EUR/USD and the USD/JPY, as the pairs have very different characteristics so the system must be robust to be profitable in both. it would be even better to see the system work on a completely different market like crude oil. with this said, most of my quant systems are taking advantage of market inefficiencies that only exist in a very specific place. therefore, i trade very few universal-type systems. in quant trading i feel its more profitable to have a tight focus.

discretionary trading... YES, there are universal strategies that work. as i have pointed out many times, i usually trade the "human element" of the market (ie reading the order flow and guessing what the major players are thinking/doing). i use the same exact philosophy in the stock market, currencies, oil, bonds, you name it. and it works everywhere, in every timeframe from 5mins to 5years, because the human element remains the same everywhere. so while i dont believe in universal systems, i certainly believe there are universal strategies and approaches that are profitable in every market in every timeframe.

Yea I had proof it all along the journey trading.

Media created "bull***t" diversion. Bad data is a good data, and good data is a bad data. So What is the different? Even when U have no big news, the Prices fly or down like a rock more than You can ever imagine.

Holy Grail is in Existence because We Believe.

Forex is the most liquid market in the world, that's why have more diversion like rumors .

Hey Domba really nice trade, 700% profit? when do you plan it to close it?

Hello to everybody, starting the week. I hate Mondays, i have to go to work. I think everybody hates mondays. Well i will try to manage emotions this week. I hope everything works well for me.

If you start with small capital 75% not much risk i think . I only scale the risk up, never down, because i would never trade entry/exit points that have a negative expectancy at least last 3 week.

Yea it is not a lot risk with small capital but 75% is way too mucks. In annother thread 50 to 22k he only risks 50% and everyone seen him blowing acc basically.
I like to watch trades a long time (2% risk max on 1 trade), even big losses, gives my life a little adrenaline and edge.

The basic is same, but i'm swing trader not scalper. and with different system. I trade price not indicator . My broker give 1:1000 leverage and rebate too. So i'm not much to worry about risk. And this account is for practice before i jump to "real acc" and of course with regulated brokers

Good, better practice with real money acc than demo. I did so and learned quicker.
And wow 1:1000 leverage , mine is 1:100 ant thinking of going to 1:50.
