Well i seem to be the only one who knows this. I discovered it 3 years ago when i was trading some major AUD data. I started noticing volume picking up in one direction just before the release. After some years of testing this theory, it's worked 90% of the time. If you don't believe me, go try it in a demo. There's only one way to be sure


PS; There were quite a few people in here who traded the GBP retail data. Just look at the signals they got at that time. TDI showed them where the market was going to move 30 minutes to an hour before the release.

I just wanted to make you aware of resistant nearby for your future actions. What happened already history and your trade did not do well because you failed to look at both support and resistant... to enter for better dd and result. I mentioned a similar senario when we should not do any thing if one big green candle up followed a big red candle down as usually it's a sign of choppiness. There was no structure for your short then except choppiness. I would not think of going long into 200ma and weekly pivot even there was a bullish divergence either. Trade what you see, not what you guess or rumor...

sound advice and very disciplined. To make it easier, whether trading on M30 or M5 if following H4 D1, we have more chance to be in green during news (not advisable to stay in during NFP and FOMC regardless any TF)

Trying out the template but it only has the heiken ashi and bollinger band on there it does not have anything else? Certainly looks interesting.
