Tao.. Its been a long while.. Last seen you a few years back on Cable update before the Egyptian revolution took a wrong step..

Anyway.. What matters is that you work on getting pips of the moves... ditch or no ditch, you take what you can..

Nice to see you as well my friend! Yea I stopped trading for a few years because I was busy with school and other stuff. Im back full time now :-). The Egyptian revolution lol. I agree what matters is that you work on getting pips no matter what :-)

Pattern completed a little higher than 78.6 but is still legit as long as candle didn't close above 88.6. My short pending order got triggered and I took half of the profit at 38.2 which is generally named as "Target-1". For "Target-2" which is at fib retracement 61.8 we still have a chance and therefore trade is still running.

I shared this to make some of you aware that Cypher pattern is a worth to try opportunity. No intention for a show or something. We are here to share and care nothing more. I have nothing to prove and so shouldn't have you guys. Live your life in a best way, do your best... get better as much as you can and forget the rest.

I will go long around 1080, when the fight at 1100 stops and will see how it looks like when I wake up. I might target 1220 for the long and a sell order at 1250.

This pair is so heavily traded that the chart patterns tend to be distorted. I normally look to the GBP/USD for the overall pattern when trading these 2 pairs. Just a thought :-). If it makes it up to 1250 its prob going straight down from there for the long haul.

Good points! For me those upward spikes are just noise inside the larger pattern lol.

For me, too...the higher it spikes, the deeper it falls, I think.

Its tricky to navigate the dynamics between the fundamentals and technicals. I'm not normally confused by either of them, but recently I have been, so everything you said makes sense!

I agree especially if its spiking on the 4 hour or daily! If its correcting high on the daily during a trend, id say its gonna fall further.
