I guess the Non-Farm Payrolls news tomorrow will indicate the direction for USD for the next days but atm USDX looks more bullish.

Oh yeah, USD is definitely in a bullish mode. I think kiwi just happens to be the strongest of the bunch.

GU defo the weakest. Great PA on this pair over the last 2 days. A combination of M30/M15 seems to have been the best action.

I don't know if M5 is even worth bothering with if you've got a few pairs on the go (even for scalp).

Look at the PA on UCAD ... Just the kind of action I love to see.

Now with daily and h4 support. This one can be a decent runner.

So what do you look for when getting out of a trade like this? Wait for the reaction in that supply zone?

I've taken some off at the zone (just before it). Maybe get some kind of reaction on this area but daily and H4 are both strongly pointing up. I would think it's worth holding this and see what develops.

Nice work Dave, I think I'd have to agree.

I shorted the top and the scalper in me took it all off... Back in though and will see what happens.

m15 and m30 side by side looks triffic. going to give it a blast. i'm selling a few gu from bit earlier. hoping it goes lower but then it kinda gets us either way seeing as we're in the UK and we're losing our purchasing power on our entire account.

Demoing Ninjatrader. I traded futures about a year ago and now getting back into it again. Should have live acct up and running next week. Futures seems more stable than forex.

Hi Winston.
when trading futures I would take volume into consideration.

Yes. I have looked into volume extensively and used it somewhat with trading futures before. As you know there is a whole body of knowledge surrounding the use of volume. However oddly enough I have found it to be more confusing to me than helpful so I have discarded it for the most part. Sometimes I'll throw up a volume indicator just to se what it looks like but I don't really use it to trade. The supply and demand levels in proper context of market direction are producing stellar results.

C12 has documented here an excellent way to trade using supply and demand principles. It's a slight departure from many of the supply/demand threads here at FF in that PA is the focus rather than the supply and demand levels themselves. I know that may sound contradictory but the PA is the key such as engulfs on pullbacks after the market has shown direction.

Managed to get some of the action on NFP. All my EU shorts got taken out for BE... Scalped a few shorts after the run back up into daily supply / SR.

All out of UCAD. Was hoping a rocket would be sent today but was ok.

Decided to scrap AU and NU from my scalping list. They're not in the DX basket and have their own agenda's and add noise to my decision making. Especially on news days.

I prefer EU, GU and UCAD (with DX) for scalps. Plenty enough action there when it's quiet without things becoming chaotic when things are moving.

I can't take credit for this style. I've mostly learned from Ken who learned from Red, who took bits from Sam Seiden and various other price action resources.

I think Red was a huge fan on engulfings but I think he mostly took reversals at zones rather than engulfs with trend.

I would be interested in futures. I like the idea but I'm just too married to MT4.

Agreed C12 but you have presented it in a way that at least for me turned on a brighter light bulb. Your statement about Red trading reversals at zones is exactly where I think many get into trouble. Of course reversals can work but you are almost always trading against the immediate market sentiment.

The NinjaTrader platform is not bad. Much more extensive than MT4. You can get a demo and trade live data feed for 30 days.
