Doesn't make sense why this pound freaking weak in thin market and it has to go down along with euro.

I think it's become clear by now that the pair is headed for the previous low at 1.4565 and possibly lower if it breaks below that support.

Ouch. I was stuck in a small scalp going short. Do G/U gaps usually fill in?


I'm debating if I should let I should close it immediately or see if it'll retrace to break-even.

The quotes on that site aren't live until 2 or 3 PM sunday evening (NY time).
The prices will remain frozen until then so the current quotes are no more valuable than looking @ the frozen prices on your charts.

I know that, but as soon as the market opens price will immediately jump to that number correct?


I'm -2.5 pips on my open position but would instantly be -30ish when 1.4776 is priced right?

NO

Price could gap up 50 pips just as easily as gap down 50 pips.
Flip a coin.
Depends upon what weekend "events" influence the market by market open.

If you want to find out, copy the current quotes & see how the gaps compare sunday evening.
I check the site every sunday evening.

It's better to wait, there is a lot of changes at the last hour before market opening.

Agree with Dano bought already. Just my TP is 1.477 of course it could reach 1.48 at this level i am ready to sell.
