DislikedHere is a great video by Shane Blankenship from Marketgeometry (Timothy Morge) where he discusses median lines and sine waves: http://marketgeometry.com/blog/what-is-a-median-lineIgnored
My quest was always finding a way to verify "p2" quickly. I've always felt there are reflective patterns in price behavior that could aid in timing entries. ( price doesn't always offer that tell, but when patterns aligned with some type of timing as a filter, the odds were in my favor). Median line behavior (50% retrace of a channel) can been seen in various applications, and price movements, but it was signaling out those setups that displayed a "sine wave" appearance, and using the frequency to mirror future price behavior. (in layman's terms the back half of the wave should resemble in reverse (mirror) the first half - that interested me.
I viewed this concept valid with the exception of ending EW wave structures, there the angle and timing of the "preceding" wave not sinusoidal should be mirrored and seen in the present.
