Yeah I cut it off right before I took the pic but I did not have the Allow DLL imports checked so I will do it and see if it works. Thanks

I saw the trade it was at about 08:30 (or 13:30 on brokers that start Eastern Time), more or less right? It would of been a winner.
However look at the stochs. Yes it did cross up as per the rules however the code has an added criteria, the stochs signals need to be below 80 for the cross to qualify. So no trade. Same thing when stochs cross down, the signals have to be above 20.

This criteria was already in the code from the days when we were developing it with Dredding. If you guys think it is appropriate I can get rid of it.

HMMM look at this post that Dredding made:

He says zoom out... but also look at how the top pivot is "STEPPING DOWN". Hmmm I think ME see a possible TREND indicator.
This one would be close to what your EYES see.... don't ya think so?? The trend indicator I am SEE is that the top Pivots are making stair case patterns. The same would hold for the lower pivot lines when making a decision to go long.

Question would be how far back to go? 2 days? 3 days? 1 day? something to ponder and of course TEST thru observation.

Got a long trade for EURUSD @ about 7:15 (or 2:15 Eastern Time).
All conditions are met and upper trend is showing Daily 3Sema Dot for long.
There was no green arrow on 1st image. Second Image shows it with the indicator reloaded. Yep got to fix that....

I also got another EURUSD at 2:45 Eastern time
As I write this they both hit their TP

I took the EA off and took the trade manually but I noticed that where the yellow semafor is on your chart you have a red candle and I have a green candle. How does the trade look on your Oanda demo account? If I would have gotten in the trade with EA it would have been 2 candles late.

So Sorry, I forgot to turn on the Oanda account. I have it on now. So we'll see what happens when next trade appears.

Checkz I believe that is because it repainted. The 2:15est long which is what xmess7`s chart is showing happened and then the repaint happened and the 2:45est long occurred which your chart is showing. My Oanda broker mt4 EA took both the 2:15 and the 2:45 longs.

Oh and the trade that is currently on this chart is when I opened up another chart window to refresh the arrows while a current long order was in the system. So I guess the EA took another long.

I am seeing the long at 2:30 on Oanda (based on the indicator arrow). It may be the repaint like p22 mentions but I think it has to do more with when the brokers start times are. On my chart TradeKing starts at 4pm Pacific time. Where as Onda starts the day at 9pm pacific. That difference in start affects the opens and closes to be slightly different and that can affect where a 3sema dot is calculated.

However notice that the trades are fairly close. 2:15 TradeKing and 2:30 Oanda. So I wouldn't worry to much about that since we are trend traders and in the end the positives will outweigh the negatives.

I had a GPD/USD long at 9:15est dec. 1 that hit its TP

Ive been running this EA, updating the files as xmess7 so graciously updates them and have over 40 trades taken. Over 20 in the last 24hours as I put it on like 20 different charts lol

Here are the settings I am using on Oanda. I am also testing the fixlot @ 1 lot and the GetHalf_setBE.
Added another screen shot of other tab too.

I have the same settings except im not using the gethalf BE yet so thats set to no and I also check the allow modification of signals settings (not sure if that makes a difference)

I am only using it on 4 pairs at the moment. Reason being that once I have this EA working correctly then I will update it for higher TF (H4 is my domain). Big time profit there.

pp22: Are u using he CloseHalf_leaveRestBE ??
I am thinking of making that CloseHalf_LeaveRestBE_NoTP.
That way we get benefit of getting profit and maybe a homerun. Right now it will close half and then either go to BE or Target Profit.

Not yet Jess. I just want to see how the win loss ratio starts to play out before I implement the CloseHalf_leaveRestBE

The "allow modification of signals " is unchecked by default for security reasons. It's really only useful when you are subscribing the signal services. It allows the EA to use special functions to get signals and decide which signal to use for trading. It doesn't make a difference to this EA unless u are subscribed to a signal service.

Hey Jess, the stoch settings you and checkz have on your charts, is that necessary for the EA or the indicator? Or is that just for your on visual? If so what settings are you using?

Yep all that stuff is for visuals. If you notice on some of my charts I am using PWDM pivots. That's to compare with the xm7_pivot and the EA internal piv calculations to that indicator and make sure that they all agree. So far they have, so I think that rice is cooked and done .

For the EA nothing is needed on the chart. It only needs to have the heiken ash and 3sema indicator in the indicator folder
