You should have gone through prorealtime brokerage to IB. They discount (to free) the platform for a set number of trades per month and it is excellent. Perhaps you can still get it if you contact them.

Here is a brief outlook from my technical view
As fed mentioned about hike this year bears are currently holding control and will try to get EURUSD as low as they could before the December FOMC meeting. Likely target is somewhere close to 1.052/1.066 which from my view is a major support level for bulls. There bears'll be ready to react to a hike should it become true and push the pair down below last low at 1.046 as deep as possible (likely targets are 1.0065/0.978) and after a shortlived rally to 1.06 continue to 0.8225. If no hike - they are ready for a bullish retest of 1.10/1.12 from below and if that holds retest of 1.046 and below. In any scenario for a longterm decline bears need to hit 0.8225 by end of May'16 and that is 7 months from now and 2600 pips to go or from December'15 and 1.06 handle it is 5 months and 2400 pips = 500 pips per month in average.
If decline to May'16 fails to break 0.8225 pair is ready for a test of 1.6 in say another 8 years.


Edit:
Call SELL LIMIT from 1.095 to 1.12 SL 1.14945 TP 0.978 before March'16

I'm also using IB and I can strongly recommend them. Their Charting Software is not the best, but it has become better lately. So I'm using their Software only.
I also tried Ninja Trader, but can not get used to it.

They charge 0.2 Pips/trade, but your order might get filled at the bid, so it's much better than Oanda. And of course, they don't widen their Spread during News. It's a real ECN.

The daily chart is wide open to the downside under 1.0808 with the next major target the April 13 main bottom at 1.0520. Don’t expect this level to be tested today, however. I have gone short below 1.091 with targets @ 1.083 & 1.081.

I've been going long on this dead sack for who knows how long.. i got in too early last week and took a pretty big stop loss.. i will recover though.. but then i got angry and lost some more trying to make it up fast.. i'm back to trading responsibly and have been on the win side. I would like to see some more lows to go long but i think we might get a bounce here because the volume and pattern doesn't look like it will test the daily lows.
Before Forex I was tall, and clean shaven. Now I am an Ewok.

Does that mean that your money is safer? sorry in advance for the rookie question. I have Forex.com now but i am looking for a place to open a second account,and honestly not sure what all the right questions are to ask. No real problems with this broker but i only went with them from someone else's recommendation when i started 2 years ago. I spend the majority of my time in the sand box so i just cannot pick up the phone and call someone. I am a US trader

The below is from forex.com (uk). US one doesn't have anything similar on their site. But it's a big broker to fail (like fxcm).
