Temp in mid 60's.....Showers in the area.....EJ is pretty much still ATM...Not much PA at all............

Morning Whip, Yes PA very minor... Don't see anything else ATM to trade... We are at 60 deg., and dry... Yesterday really beautiful...

Just had this urge to run back out to the hawk watch site I went to on Fri. past. Just a beautiful place, overlooking a a large lake with Pines, and Aspens beginning at the shoreline, and continuing right up to the ridges of surrounding mtn. range...

So, I did go, and I was greatly rewarded... Fri. we were essentially, skunked, but yesterday was a different story... As Providence would have it, I was there to witness the largest kettle of Broadwing hawks seen since 2007, 975 was the count agreed on by the official counters... Astounding to see the sky filled with these diminutive hawks... And, they were low enough to be seen clearly by the naked eye, until the thermals took them aloft...

It sounds like you hit a gold mine yesterday and with the fact you were in such a beautiful place it would have to be a great day..........

It was perfect!! The Broadwings finish their migratory pass through this area in about 10 days. Count at this site in particular is about 12K BWs over that ten day period. Monday's count was 4K, yesterday's, near 2K...

Pouring down rain here today.....Temp at 60 degrees, cool and wet.....This will probably go on through the weekend............
EJ dancing in place, PA still nowhere to be found..... will close it at noon.......

Whip, I have removed, the SUP-DEM indy from templates. Doesn't show anything we can't see already just by eyeballing the charts... I suspect rain is on its way here. I am achy as the devil this morning.
