Well, got stopped out -30. And it's gone below 1140. She looks uncertain today but it still looks like it wants to go higher. I'm long above 1140. Not gonna short a retrace.

Am home sick today. So got some time on my hands! LOL

Interesting to see different components work. That whiplash on the 5M was a ZZBB move that happens every now and again. During Frankie, it closes below BB then shoots up and closes above BB then dives down after London open to close below BB again, establishing a low, then slowly climbs over BB mid... which is where it's at now.... within 9am and 10am.

Not sure yet if it will be a down day. Not gonna predict. But Asia opened at 1153. London opened at 1163. Low established at 1124.
Another amazingly volatile day! Not!

Dammit. Broke below BB Mid. Starting to look like a down day. Will look to close my longs now for -10. I will probably scalp short looking for 20 pips

Reminder: markets are thin this month....extended moves are rare and a lot of chop, grind, and range trading. With a key FOMC meeting in September, many are on holidays since last week. I would not expect a lot of large moves, or key range breakouts to last in this environment......hence my scalping this month. just my .02
FWIW....I am targeting 6-15 pips per trade on 1 min scalps the rest of the month.

Yeah, you're right. I've had that mindset going into Aug. I'm at home so my ADD is getting the best of me. All would have been fine if I didn't tighten my stops! LOL.
But I'm back in Long from 1153 which is Daily Open. Not gonna touch it again! Ha!

Maybe you are home sick and available for full day trading, that's why it's not that volatile today....

Have been ill and a bit slow getting back into things - busy with alot of catch up at work for the time i was off.
Hence why the trades have been zero.

Today however, I have Longs:
EURUSD @ 11261 avg
EURNZD @ 16910 avg
EURJPY @ 13850

Short AUDNZD @ 11084 and 11032

I hear ha. Had to push back my son's second birthday. He was sick, his mom was sick, his cousins are sick now. I am heading to the beach for the next week. Time for a little son and recharge the batteries.

Longs at average prices
EURAUD @ 15843.5
EURNZD @ 17351.3
EURCAD @ 15166.1
USDSGD @ 14126.5

AUDNZD still in play, 3rd position slightly underwater but I'm still holding. Target 10660 with 1st intermediate target 10858
No targets precisely calculated yet for the opening positions.

The USDSGD was influenced from a newsletter signal service I subscribe to, so that's not driven by my analysis. However, the trigger to trade was mine as the analysis was done on Monthly, Weekly, Daily. Trigger done on combination ZZBB, Fibonacci retracement, EMAs and support found on previous TrendLine Breakout level. Chart below. At the very minimum, we can target the previous highs 14168, but TL Breakout projection shows a target of 14192 which is slightly under the projection of 142XX of the newsletter so it's bias is aligned.

Out of all of these, I probably should not have taken the EURAUD as it's the weakest Risk/Reward - it doesn't even take out the highs, which is giving me a warning type feeling of reversal. Anyway, I'm 1.5 pips under so I'll see how it plays out - I have to take the trade as it's been triggered. I may decide to pull the plug any time before lunch today depending on how I feel about the price action.

Interestingly, EURAUD 15944 was missed by 0.4 pips. 5M high was 15943.6 which hit whilst I was away from desk. Closed for +70.

Closed AUDNZD for +115 as 4H as that breakout has created a reversal pattern on a few indicators. Not gonna fight it. Still short-biased on this pair as AUD affected by China devaluation. Will look for another shorting opportunity 11050 to 11080 ish via Fib retracement
