Actually you can say it is getting with each dollar lower more and more in a buy trend because now with the price below 50$ oil is getting cheap and the room for downtrend is getting less and less, i have a pending order to buy at 48.60 there should be at minimum some small correction there to the upside but lets see what will happen

I understand that logic completely ...if we were buying physical....then again ...If I was buying physical I would wait till the very bottom.Personally I think this close under 50 will only accelerate the decline....it spent 11 days bouncing off 51 - 50 .

Well unless your friend is T Boone Pickens I don't care what someone's friend said.

And I don't care even what Mr Pickens says ... if he doesn't get a reason why it is a buy or it is a sell.

Reasons not opinions are what matter.

It's a great question , my personal view is no . As the oil and gas fields in Syria have mainly been in and out of Assad hands for yrs now and they are a very small producer anyway. But that said the bulls could use it as a excuse. But USA markets were open last week when the event occurred and there was no reaction ... just my thoughts to your question

Think it will go another couple of dollars higher before resumption of downtrend. H1 chart looks to only have waves 1-3 of 5 of an A wave complete so far:

On its best days I don't think it will pass 51.5, then lower again from here.
